Mechanical Engineer

Description

  • Works independently, or on project teams
  • Able to manage cost, schedule and technical product development for small, focused tasks.
  • Perform calculations applying mechanical engineering principles, techniques, procedures and criteria
  • Prepare quality assurance reviews of simple analyses or other engineering documentation
  • Develop test procedures to ensure equipment and system performancePerforms quality assurance reviews of simple analyses, calculations and drawings developed by junior staff
  • Direct interface with design leads

    • Education

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard mechanical system design and analysis software tools
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD type software, 2D, 3D, wireframe
  • Experience in naval design
